First words to the EI

Jai Li had her first homevisit with the Early Interventionist. It went great! She played with cars, blocks, puzzles and play-doh and exhibited all the skills she should at this age. She also said several words: more, meow and uh-oh. Her EI was very pleased! She was also pleased that mommy and daddy were both so involved. She said there are many homes she goes into that are quite the opposite. It was a pleasure, she said, to see a family in which the child truly was top priority.
